It is highly recommended to have Asia Travel Insurance when you go visit Asia. The cost is affordable. There are some travel insurance plans that allow some sports activities and adventures but you will be surprised that you are not covered in the fine print. Be very careful because some plans may have little clauses in the policy that may cause you problems in the future or when it is time to claim. One example is no riding on small motorcycles. If you are familiar with Asian tours, this clause could be absurd. Another example is that you are required to have documents to show how much cash you have in case of theft.
